I haven't found out what he died of but I read he was in and out of the hospital for the last month.

I never really had any respect for his building skills, but I had a whole hell of a lot of respect for his management skills. Under his leadership the Coddington shop put out some very famous and pristine rods.

Myself, I thought his design skills set him apart from the rest.......I still remember "Cadzilla" which was built for ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. And look at the names that worked for him.....Jessie James and Chip Foose.

This is truely a sad day!
I loved watching American Hotrod and still do.
I also remember 'Cadzilla' - awesome car

R.i.p. Boyd Coddington.
