PC Perspective - Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 - An Early Performance Preview

That is nuts...too bad no mobos support it....yet...

(sorry if repost been under the radar lately.....that and I am too lazy to do a search )

Yeah 400MHz FSB is very nice for a stock CPU. Luckily its an Extreme Edition though, overclocking wouldn't be too good if you couldn't change the multiplier (P35 boards normally do 470MHz-ish).

Yeah 9x is a bit rubbish to be honest. 10x is awesome for Core 2 Duo's, makes it really easy to get to 4GHz.
