Server side = AMD should do well considering that when running dozens of servers a business is always conserned with power usage/costs.

Consumer/Desktops = For now and the near future , Intel is gonna stay on top and AMD will continue to lose money unless thier pricing is just too attractive to pass up.

( Of course , I'll do my part and buy an AMD setup . Dont tell Intel tho ** Intel Fanboy )

Fusion is suppossedly slated for a 09-10 release so you've still got a while to go for that. And yes AM3 will be quad core. If you're interested Anandtech's got an article detailing all of AMD's plans for the next couple of years here.

As the owner of the best AM2 motherboard.... I think i should be the one to review it...
