| PCApex Newscaster  |  Sparkle likes its graphic cards silent Sparkle likes its graphic cards silent Sparkly graphic card manufacturer Sparkle has had enough of all those active cooling solutions and has muted a large part of its GeForce 8 line-up. With the exception of the G80-powered GeForce 8800s, all other Nvidia-branded DirectX 10-supporting cards are now available with passive cooling systems. The new silent line-up includes two GeForce 8600 GTS', two 8600 GTs, four 8500 GTs and four 8400 GS'. All cards come with all the benefits of DirectX 10 (although supporting DX10 doesn't mean capable of decent performance in DX10 games) and are equipped with heatpipe-based passive cooling systems.
