| PCApex Newscaster  |  Nvidia releases ForceWare 163.44 Nvidia releases ForceWare 163.44 As predicted, the Green Goblin of Santa Clara has released a new ForceWare driver, just in time for the unveiling of the PC demo of BioShock. The ForceWare 163.44 Beta comes with support for the GeForce FX, 6, 7 and 8 series cards and features: - Single GPU and NVIDIA SLI technology support on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL for GeForce 6, 7, and 8 series - Improved compatibility for Bioshock. - Numerous game and application compatibility fixes. - Added PureVideo HD decode acceleration for GeForce 8600, 8500 and 8400 series GPUs.
