Your mouse SHOULD be plastic, I have never peronally seen one made from anything else myself!

I think a few have been made from aluminum, but the only one i could find was for a Mac!

MacNN | MacMice ships new aluminum mouse

When you paint it, you will have to take it apart completely and remove the "Guts" if you want to do dit right, and still have the buttons work properly.

You also need to be carefull about getting the paint too thick on it, or it may not work right!

If you build up to much paint on the edges, you might need to sand them down, or use a knife to scrape it gently to remove the exess.

I think you can do this, I am just trying to let you in on a few things to be aware of first so they don't become "Issues" later!

Maybe somone that has actually painted one (I've never done one, just alot of painting plastic model kits) could share some tips with ya!
