well the first picture is of a kind of house painter...nothing used in the automotive world where you are doing rather detailed paint work with mutiple coats of rather expensive paint... that said the second one looks like a regular automotive paint gun that has an air compressor basically a vacum cleaner put on out. other than being heavy, cumbersome and that's a rather large hose to the gun it looks like the gun will perform the same as any automotive as for the vacum supplying the air, if it can provide the 30-/+ psi to the gun needed for automotive painting then it should work rather well. the only thing i'd suggest is get a gravity feed gun...the syphon feeds just don't hold up to the performance and final product a gravity feed does

I'm guessing that's the gun that uses makes all the paint that goes through the nozzle a negatively charged, so since negative + negative repels each other, they spread out in a large even cloud.

Learnt it in physics.

Ya you'd be better off with a regular gravity feed gun. Even a cheap one from harbor freight would work. Even cheap guns can give a good finish if you know what you're doing.

This is a good sprayer as long as you have the air compressor. link my advice is to stay away from a electric sprayer you will not get the performance you would get with air.

40 bucks for a spayer...yeah you'll need a compressor but the gun has a reg on it so you'll be set to spray with the gun reg compressor and it'll prolly come with a line so good to go homes
