quick question

Alright I'm gonna do a new mod so i've been looking around for a case that will suit my needs. I'm planning on doing the outside in pure white but I was wondering if painting white over an origional black finish wont look good. I know im gonna need to sand and prime but I was just wondering if the black will have any effect on the finished product.

It would depend on the percentage of solids in your primer and white paint.

If you don't have a problem applying multiple coats, you should be able to achieve acceptable results.

You could allways sand off the black paint that is on the metal parts, but the plastic parts will need a few coats.

that input will be good to know in the future but i have found two cases that will suit my needs...

now i just gotta decide to go with an old gateway like in larrs27's mod or this.

Just sand the existing paint flat & use a white primer....
