When to wetsand?

I'm going to be painting the ol' case in the next month or so and I'm still unsure about wetsanding. Do I wetsand before the clearcoat? Between each coat of clear? or after the clearcoat is finished?

To get a mirror shine here is a link on how/when to sand the paint including which grits you need.

Simple....between EACH coat of primer, color & clearcoat....

Unless... you are using a metal flake paint - leave the last colour coat before the clear unsanded to preserve the finish

I wetsand the clear coat....But then I don't mess up so much that I need to sand between coats....

I also wait a full week before I touch any paint job with sandpaper....
