| Well, I'm trying to decide which respirator i should get. I'm thjinking i'll get a 3M brand respirator. After painting and using vinyl dye in the recent, i've decided i want to get a mask...the fumes are pretty bad when using vinyl dye and i notice the effects of the fumes pretty good. Some input would be nice. | ||

| I use an MSA Comfo Elite resperator. Though I don't think it will filter airborne fumes, it's the nicest dust mask I've ever owned. Perhaps there are some different filter cartriges that can be used with smoke and fumes and such. EDIT- just checked it out. I have a standard high effeciency filter for mine, but you can get combo filters or chemical filters which filter out airborne fumes and areosols.
