Firstly,
WELCOME TO PC APEX!!

You'll need to start with giving the interior a good clean before you do anything. If you can take it apart, this will help.
A light sand with 300 grit paper should do the trick.

Next up, you'll need to use an "etch" primer - this special primer is designed to stick to bare metal and will do a better job than a primer surfacer - spray a fine mist on first - not a solid coat, then leave 10-15 minutes and apply a few fine layers until you have a solid coat on. That way, your colour coat will stick really well.

When you pick up the primer, I'd suggest asking at the paint store about a paint that will match it. I'm a fan of lacquer-based rattlecans as opposed to epoxies and acrylics - but ask at the paint store, the people there are usually helpful

another question...

so any spray paint that is compatible with the primer would be ok for hardwares? i mean, are there any kinds of spray paints out there that should not be used in painting the interior of a case (for technical, safety of hardwares reasons)?

coz i once read in another forum that he even tested the paint with a multi meter to check if its a conductor of electricity or something in that matter.

Well, as long as your taking everything out first you should be fine, since the interior of your case is conductive as it is. Unless its a plexi case, but then i dont know why youd be painting the interior.

What can I say, after MasterP's "Warm Welcome"....

Lol... well... only that you check out our great "painting" section....
There is everything in there you'd possibly want to know....

I've got very good expieriences with automotive paint from Motip/Duplicolor....
Might not be the cheapest but it's gets the job done.... in a good way!

As the "innards" are concerned... you get a better result by "drilling out" all "rivets" so you can
concentate on each piece at a time.... after you're done you can fit new "rivets" or just use "nuts & bolts"..

Remember... the best result takes;
- time
- effort
- patience
- and a LOT of elbow grease!

Welcome!
