Dupli Color Metal Specks Paint, around 9 bucks at walmart. Just use regular paint. Beware though, its a bit thing so it might take a couple coats.

thanks nerdz, i'm gonna get the blue metal speck with one of duplicolors primers. Sweet. Thanks jakindle for the info, but all of those places are a ways away (lol, Duluth, that's about 202 miles away not using roads lol) Minneapolis is more realistic tho...i dont think i'll need those anyway.

Any Auto zone or Advance auto parts should have duplicolor paints. If you want a lighter blue, probably go with a white or very light gray primer, and if you want a darker blue, then go with a darker gray or even black primer. (Correct me if I am wrong about that)

Be sure not to over sand your paint when sanding with *any* grit sand paper. you can screw a good paint job up with even 2000 grit, that goes double with metalic paints.

Good luck with your project.
