| Apex Techie Wannabe | Ok, well, I've been to ewnough forums to know I don't really need to say I'm a noob here, its around me like flies on a piece of crap in the African Savana. Anyway. I've always like "tweak" things and change stuff making it customn. And now its on to painting PC cases. I am going to be getting an airbrush soon I think and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on good ones. I thought there was only like 1 kind of airbrush, then I goto google, and like dam. Theres more. Well, any tips on whats good for cases, what kind of compressor, paint, etc.. Any tip would be greatly appreciated. I know enough about stuff that if you buy something before you research it alittle your proboly gonna get f'd in the a, if ya catch my drigft. Anyway thanks for any help in advance. Aero | |

Well I bought my boyfriend a cheap 5 dollar airbrush set and he says it works fine, he also has a more expensive one for maybe 60-80 bucks. Anyway what im saying is it might not only be the quality of the airbrush but also the skills you have to use it! well good luck and have fun airbrushing | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Apex Techie Lite | I use a badger anthem, it is a really good brush. I suggest buying badger from michaels. If you can get one of their 50% off coupons, you can save a ton on it. As for compressors and paint, someone more experienced than me needs to answer that. | |

| I second the Badger Anthem it's been working great since I got it. Also the Paasche VL or VLS are great brushes with a nice price too. www.airbrush-depot.com has a great selection, and starter kits too. As for a compressor you can get one in a starter kit or some where else. The compressor isn't a big deal 99.9% of comprossers can do the job, just make sure to get a pressure regulator and a moisture trap (some compressors include these some don't). As far as paint goes I love the Createx line up. If you looking for that Automotive look then get Auto Air Colors www.autoaircolors.com you can buy this paint in as little as 4oz bottles which one bottle will do a whole mid tower case. You can buy this paint from airbrush depot alos. Godd luck with painting. | ||

| you wanna shy away from cheap paint if u're gunna be doing a case. i use some heap acrylic stuff for art applications, its fine for my uses but doesn give a very smooth finish, i'd try and go automotive or the like. as for airbrush, there are many different kinds, read up on what kind of control and you need. i cant live without dual action myself. | ||
