If you are trying to get yout ugly cream colored drives to blend in with yout black case, and you are finding that it's just too glossy/doesn't blend, I have found a pretty good "paint", if you will. I was digging around my spray paint collection and found some Dupli-Color (I think that is what it is) Bumper/Rub Strip Coating Spray. It is black paint that adheres to bumpers/trim of your car. It is very durable and is a glood flat black that drives quick and looks great. Its worked alot better than other paint because its a little more thick and dries very even. This would work best if you are just trying to blend in drives with a stock black front bezel. Just a pointer... Happy Modding!

P.S. - I just completed a paint job with Black Metallic Paint and I am mostly happy with the results. I screwed up the front-bezel, and I ordered a new one. How shiny could I get it if I just clear-coated it, sanded with 1000/1500 and used paint cleaner, rubbing compound and then polish? I know it wouldn't be metallic but I don't really want it to be.

Great idea! I've seen that stuff before, but hopefully it is durable enough. Most people use Vinyl paint which will actually bond to the plastic if you're painting drive bay covers.
