Removing base paint

Ok, Im ready to start my second case, this one is an Antec case with metal sides. I was planning on sanding down all the way to metal, do a stecil design of lightning, :-D I like lightning... (leave a lot bare metal) and clear coat it shiney.

Does anyone know of a good way to sand off all the paint without taking off a lot of metal and having it a even sanding? BTW it does have some rustolium spraypaint on it so it has that to take off too...

if you sand it down with either a sanding block or a sander, i wouldnt be too worried about takin off too much metal. i would look more for a smooth finish.

thats what you wanna aim for.

Belt Sander with 200 grit worked wonders in about 10 min I have almost all of the paint off. I am planning to polish and clear coat the panels and leave as is on a modded case...
