Default Fixing Ooops' (problems with chipping my primer)

Does anyone know if glazing putty / bondo works well on primer dings? I keep fooking up my primer job by sanding through it or dinging and edge on the side of the deepsink that I sand it in. It's a pain in the arse to spot primer a little chip to fill it in.

I haven't heard too much about bondo on primer dings, why not just fill in the primer with a touch-up of primer?

Well, I already have the putty... I would really need a few brushes for the application of the primer on spots. I don't want to lay out cash for some small brushes and thinner and what not. Not to mention the time it would take to build it up in the ding areas...

There are only a few dings. If there were more I might looking into the brushing on technique but as it is, it just seems like a waste of productive time.

Ive used the glazing type puttys on primer with acceptable results myself.

I think its normally used over paint but it seemed to work fine on primer. Be prepared for some shrinkage though, and maybe some repeated applications for deeper spots.
