?Cool Paint Tips?

I have been watching these shows like PimpMyRide , Ride with Flex and great biker buildoff and i am amazed and these techniques they use like making things look 3-D and I was wondering if anyone knew of maybe a website that could tell me these techniques so I can use them on my modding.

this is offtopic but, i browse these pages alot while im at work, and well i dont know what would happen if a GTSA or TAM saw that avatar of peter licking his own teete. could you please change it for those at work, like always not a demand, just a help out.

Dang man I have to change my signature pic because it was too big which is understandable but come on now you want me to change my avatar to. wtf?

I know I am a newbie but I thought a question about painting would go into the painting section....my bad.

If you do not fully understand this question let me break it down: Me sees cool painting techniques on TV. Me wants to use them on me PC. Me go to PimpRig to see if anyone knows these techniques or maybe a website that can explain.

having an attitude about it isn't going to make us want to help you . .. if you read the post a little more carefully it wasn't a demand but a request.

anyways, as far as i know, you can get the graphics you are talking about with a good airbrush artist or you can have a decal made up and put the clearcoat over it

Gee I am sorry when people only post to criticize or to bring a thread and they fail to do so it pisses me off. Just because you have more posts and a cute little ranking doesn't mean you can try to stomp on my thread. Now if this thread was supposed to be in off topic then I wpuld understand. Then after that you tell me to change my avatar after I changed my signature because it was too big whis is considerable . I changed my avatar to be nice and you guys are still stomping on my $hiite wtf is up with that?

i would not have minded cept i browse these forums often while im at work, and i dont want to get in trouble with a manager.

in my first post i asked nicely, i wasnt rude about it or nothing. and i do thank you for changing it.

AFAIK, they use airbrushing to get the 3d look. I can't say I know of any websites that have info like that readily available, but I'm sure a Google will turn up as few. As for paints, I recommend you check out Createx airbrush colors. They have candies, pearls, chameleons, etc. My buddy has worked with it a bit and loves it.
