Vinyl color brand, help me out

I'm looking to dye my CD-ROM black and blue, but the only brand of vinyl color/dye I can find in any of the auto stores around here is the Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric spray, is this as good as the Plasti-Kote Vinyl color? I've seen shots of the Plasti-Kote afterwards and it looks great, Just need to know if this is the same stuff, as there is also another brighter vinyl color that Dupli-Color does that wants an adhesion promoter, and thats definately not a dye.

Try general hardware stores (lowes, tru-value, home despot, etc...) instead of auto stores, most hardware stores around here carry Plasti-Kote by the regular spray paint.
