Default Changing the color of my keyboard.

Hey guys, I'm new here and I am need some help. I have a Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard that is Royal Blue/White. I plan on changing it to some sort of gloss black to match my case and mouse. Then changeing the keys to a grey to match my mouse, mx310 by Logitech. What step would you suggest I take when I start painting. Should I primer it? Any help is nice.

Thanks

Also, what do you guys think about the Krylon Fusion. Says there is no sanding or primering needed and it is great for plastics.

Ive heard good things about the new Fusion paint, but have never used it. I have used Automotive vynil dye before with good results, and have also used just regular rattle can paint before with good results. Its all up to your personal preference. As far as painting the keys though, i wouldnt suggest it due to the fact that your going to have to buy new stencils to put on once done painting, and i have never read a thread where someone has actually used or even found specific keyboard stencils.

BTW the fusion paint acts exactly like vynil dye. It basically soaks into the plastic, but with the dye you are limited on colors unless you can find an automotive store that mixes their own dye. Good luck and let us know what you descide on and what your end results are.
