| I want to get away from the rattle cans for painting cases and would like to know what would be better for painting cases. HVLP spray gun or airbrush? Also looking for equipment recommendations for both while not breaking the bank. ($200-$300 range) Seeing some of the videos at mnpctech.com I have a feeling that an airbrush would probably take forever to lay down the paint. | ||

| Airbrushing is just not suitable for large areas, that much I can tell you. I don't have a good suggestion on a gun, I've been away from it too long. I use a Paasche double action air brush, but I've had it forever. It works well and it's easy to get parts for, but again, there might be a better option. Badger is pretty popular. | ||

| You could get something small like a touchup spray gun for automotive painting. It's a half step between a full on spray gun and an airbruss. DeVilbiss.com - spray finishing equipment - guns, pumps, tanks, accessories The above gun as an example, with the 8oz cup would be handy for cases. | ||
