| Semin-Hoe-Le Supp-Hoe-Ter | if you are just using a krylon product spray paint in cans, just buy the flat version. and yes, I think they make clearcoats that give a more satin-like finish, rather than that deep wet look. what color are you going for? Send a PM to Insomniac, he knows all.

| Apex Master Tech | Yea, BZA is right they make two kinds of spray paint clear coats. Crystal Clear and Satin Finish. Crystal Clear will give a glossy look somewhat, but the really glossy finishes come from a very flat clear coat that has been rubbed out properly. One coat of satin finish clear should make it nice and durable without giving it that uber glossy look.
