Haha! The noobie has come back - and with a vengeance!
I'm taking a kinda busted case - and revamping it. I'm not pimping the rig, yet. I'm pimping the paint. One step at a time, folks...The bad thing is, some parts of the door are cracked, and there's a chip big enough to fit a pinky in it (and I'm fat-fingered!). This means I've got a handful. Maybe some kind of epoxy, Bondo, or molding stuff?
I'm liking it's stock red/black scheme - but not how the side plastic fan cover/mesh cover is just black. I'm painting those red, leaving the mesh black, and it WILL look sweet when done. Now, be gentle - it's my first painting.

I've also already painted a keyboard to match.
My plans are to make the whole thing pop out - the red against black is sweet - but I'm also thinking of taking lime green lighting and blinging out the case. Maybe blue...
One more thing to note - I'm on a budget of almost zero. I'm 15, money doesn't come easy. I had to weasel and beg to get a $5 can of paint and masking tape. (paint bonds to plastics!

) I'm goin' 'ta fix the case, then transfer my contents of my main comp unto the holy new ground. So I'm REALLY limited on my spending. Very,
very,
VERY, limited.
Any ideas? I'll take any good ones posted into consideration.
I'm going to post updates as I go along. If this is in the wrong section, move me please!
Here's one similar to mine. It's silver, not red, but it's close enough for you to get the idea. (not painted, forgot to take a B4 piccy):
Well, that's it for now.
Au revoir.
