What to do with empty spray cans?

I have a box full of empty rattle cans that seems to just take up more and more space as time goes on. How do you guys dispose of your empty cans? I don't have a car, so I'm hoping there is some way I can get rid of these without going directly to the dump.

Actually dont do this... It's bad, in fact a sealed can of beans in the fire is also bad (hmm dont ask)

Call your city council or perhaps sheriff and ask them?

I shoot them with a air rifle to pop them and then toss them in the trash...

line them up, duck tape them, attach wires, and batteries................ohhhh wait thats how to make a bomb. never mind.

Heres what you do.

1) have beer
2) pick up the can
3) (hard part) Open trash can lid w/ other hand
4) Throw can at a diagonal angle so the can will land in the trash can.
5) Your beer is gone so go get another.

if you drain the compressed air left in them i.e: hold upside down till theresno more noise or spray. then toss them in the trash. OR take a hammer, like a big hammer, and smash them up before you throw them away.

Well, you're asking how to get rid of them but I have a slightly funnier idea.

I'd do that but transfer the deoderant into the spray paint cans.

Then when you go to the gym, school, etc. whip out one of 'em and watch people stare as you use it.
