silver paint that doesnt rub off?

ive been thinking of painting my optical drives/floppys front bezels. but the problem is that my case is silver, and ive never had good experiences painting with silver. if i touch the paint, the silver comes off and turns into a dull gray. if i try to clearcoat it it also turns gray. ive been using rust-olium spray paint, krylon and other brands i dont remember. am i using the wrong kinds of paints? if anyone needs to know, i have a silver coolermaster case, cavalier.

Ghost Chrome by Alsa Corp would give a silver like finish, and clear coatable. Problem is it doesn't come in a can or even easy to apply brush mix. But it's the only option I can think of at 3:30AM.

The duplicolor one did better than the rust oleum one. But still it's not perfect. I would go to autozone or somewhere and try some silver factory match paints in the can.
