| I've heard of Seagate's Lindows preloaded drives, does anyone else have any preloaded NON-WINDOWS drives? After dealing with it and then playing with Jennifer's RH 7.2, Windows blows. I want rid of it. But, with all the problems we're having with internet and such, I'm stuck with buy it, or scrounge. Since I already need a new hard drive, I was wondering if any other distros were prepackaged... | ||

| Nope, only Lindows on Seagate drives. Go to a local computer store, I'm sure someone behind the desk has their own personal downloaded discs of Mandrake or RedHat that they'll lend you or charge a minimal fee for. Ohh yah, if you have an ATI videocard, SuSE will you give nightmares trying to get it to load so you can install the RPM. ![]() | ||

| Mandrake, and Redhat dont' seem to have a problem with ATI til you can get the official modules (they call drivers modules in Linux speak). When I load SuSE it just goes black. SuSE chokes on ATI videocards. ADD: If you are software overclocked, your screwed in terms of you'll lose your overclock. | ||
