![]() | I'm having trouble trying to play Battlefield 2, i purchased a Viewsonic VX922 LCD monitor and when i start the game, it starts then i get a black screen then bam! im back to my desktop its very annoying i don't think i have to reinstall the game again i was searching the web and i read that someone encountered the same problem as me other games run fine, i ran the game @ 800X600 screen resolution worked fine, i cant play it in 1024X768 screen resolution, do anyone besides me have this same annoying problem? |

Have you patched it? Battlefield 2 is basically like swiss cheese out of the box.

| Custom What? | Yes I did, I was running 1600x1200 on my home machine but when I switched to another moniter the game would crash since the moniter couldn't handle the resilution. Now this might not be your problem, I would change your frequncy down to 60 hertz and try again. If that doesn't work try a higher res in the game. And yes the game is swiss cheese so make sure you patch it. |

![]() | Yeah i have the lastest patch and it still does it no matter what
Lokie! you just gave me a great idea!!! in my screen resoultion settings its at 85 hertz when i had my old monitor, i will have to change it some how back to 60hz. Thanks for all yall help | |||||||||||||||||||

![]() | Well i finally figured it out, i still had the graphic settings from my old monitor Hz rate was at 85 and thats why on my new setup it kept going to the black screen. all i did was switch back to my old setup and changed the settings to 75Hz so that fixed it !! Thanks guys for all your help |
