Can't get my remote to control windows applications!

Can someone please tell me what to do to set up my remote control propelry, I've got it set to open all of my media players but I can't program it to operate there functions and its getting frustrating.
The software i'm using is the stuff supplied with my Creative Soundblaster Live external sound card.

Below is a screen shot of the program supplied to set up the remote so operate other windows applications, what do I put intot the 'parameters and start in' boxes.

The creative remote doesn't play well with applications other than the creative media player, but I have tried 2 programs to make it work with winamp etc.

Winamp is my primary media player, so I use the RM-X plugin for winamp, works great.

Also there is a program called IRman I believe with which you can program the buttons to do anything.

i use a program called PC Remote Control

Its really good but cost about Ã‚Â£7 to get the full version i think but im happy with the way it works. Not sure if it would work with your remote but worth a look maybe?
