Creating Images of SD card?

Hello There! Basically, just got some GPS sea charts that are on an SD card, naturally I don't want to keep the original in the GPS machine, I would prefer to make a copy, also for some reason they don't release the software updates online so I would like to have a copy to use when it's with nauticpath for updating. I imagine dragging and dropping would suffice in making it work, but how do I go about making an image (iso, bin) of it? Thanks for any advice, Haider

Just a thought...

If you had a card reader connected to your machine, it should recognize the card as a removable storage device.

Using Nero (or similar burning software), you may be able to do a copy to an ISO file.

not sure how to use that feature of nero, had a looksies but no lucksies

i'm gonna try and get my hands on a SD card (got one but it's only 64mb, needs to be 256) and see if drag and drop will work. shouldn't have any issues if explorer is showing all files... But feel free to answer the initial question if you stumble upon this thread

I gotta ask. Are you the same one that asked this question in the latest Max PC?
The drag and drop should work but don't forget to select "show hidden files" in the tool menu

Yeh, I assumed it would work. I got hidden files showing all the times

Will try and get my hands on that SD card, should have one laying around at work... Cheers a lot!! EDIT: No SD cards at work, have to order it in
