*HELP* Mouse

Ok, now I'm having mouse troubles.
When I turn my PC off, the mouse stays on. When the PC is on, the mouse is on, but the cursor won't move.
I have a Razer Copperhead. AND I also tried using my Logitech MX518, same problems.

I plugged the Razer into my USB port, and it was glowing blue, even when the PC was shut off.
When I plugged the Razer into my P/S port, it was completely off, even when the PC was shut off

I plugged the Logitech into the P/S port, and had a red light glow from it, even when the PC was shut off.
When I plugged the Logitech into my USB port, it was completely off, even when the PC was shut off.

I'm super pissed

.... I was gonna spend all night playing BF2: SF and Oblivion.... PLEASE HELP ME!

P.S.
The Razer is brand new.... just in case....

Just a thought, check your BIOS for any USB boot functions that may be enabled and disable them...

Are you sure its shutting down properly, and not entering a low power state?And stupid question but did you install any drivers for the mouse? If you haven't then install whatever cam with it and if you already have then try updating them as you may have got a corrpt set.

I had a problem where my USB mouse wouldn't work, never managed to solve it had to get a replacement.

Yeah, I got it working, in the bios.... last night.... just got off bf2 awhile ago to post this.
