Partition Magic 8.02 trouble

So I'm using partition magic 8.02 and whenever I try to move my main partition with my os it say must restart the computer. But when I do that, a screen comes up and says program not found and ends up doing nothing. What am I doing wrong?

If you are running XP Pro x64, Partition Magic won't work because it's not compatible with x64. It can do everything that doesn't require rebooting for PM to make the changes, but something like moving your main partition won't work.

However, what you can do is run Partition Magic from the CD, without installing it. You don't have to have it installed to use it. Just boot up with the CD in the drive and do what you need to do.
