![]() | Took delivery of my BenQ FP202W yesterday and it arrived with 1 dead pixel, which as you can imagine I'm not impressed with ! I'll be ringing them today to try and get a new one. Has anyone had experience with BenQ before re something like this ? If so what are my chances ? I'll report back once I've spoken to them. Cheers

If bought new then you should have some recorse. If bought refurbished then you may have problems.

| Apex Elite Expert Tech | It all depends on the company in question, most have a acceptable amount of dead pixels clause in the warrenty, you can't send back most laptops unless they have more than 3. But you might get lucky. Just keep trying untyil they fed up of you ringing up, that generally works.

![]() | God bless OcUK..... BenQ said it was within Internationally accepted limits therefore tough luck.... I asked them (the supervisor) what does that say about their factory quality control if they send out imperfect TFT's. He had no answer. Anyway OcUK are getting a courier to pick it up tomorrow and will issue a refund, then I just order another. Hopefully the new one will be perfect !! Can't praise OcOK enough !! Here's their address for anyone in the UK : http://www.overclockers.co.uk

| Driver Ed'Hoe'cation | So far we have over 300 gateway flat screens- bought all brand new with all of our new computers we are getting here at the school. I havent seen one with a dead pixel yet, so i don't see why they should accept "up to 3" or something like that since it really says a lot on the quality of a product.... |
