Default connection problems???

i have 2 computers in the room i am in and i cant connect to internet explorer???????? i can connect to aol just fine but when i click on internet exp it tries to connect and then says that page cannot be displayed, like there isnt an internet connection????? what can i do?

internet explore isn't a good web browser. Download firefox for free as it is top notch. If u still get the problems w/ firefox them post.

how would he get firefox if ie isnt working?


I would goto Tools --> internet options --> Advanced and click restore defaults

then go to Tools --> internet options --> conncections and choose the lan settings -> make sure that is set to automaticly dectect settings

then try again

How did he post? He can get online w/ aol. Also can u get to other websites in IE? If so it might just be ur homepage goes nowhere.

Aol is a web browser meaning he can get online w/ it. but it's just IE thax messed up.
