only one wirless network

Does anyone know of a way to force a wireless access point to only talk to on specific SSID.
Or possibly a way to lock the system onto a certain SSID?

Depending on your router you can setup a WEP encrypted password that each PC on the LAN must have before it will connect.

not exactly what I was going for. we are already running WPA PSK security on all clients and access points. I wanted to find a way to keep users from changing the access point that the laptop talks to. So basically restrict them to my network. I might have just found a way via Intels Pro Set application and the profiles it uses.
I'm heading out to an open access point to test it shortly.

I'm not sure but I think you may be able to use their
MAC. The main problem is that you you don't have 100% over their machines and users like to change things.
