Default MS-Dos from power up??

Got a question / problem for ya ....

I'm tryin to flash the bios on an Asus P2B-D board, runnin XP Pro. I've tryed the to get it to power up and go into dos mode but it wont. Tryed 98boot disk, tryed the AFLASH.exe floppy, tryed makin an MS-Dos start up disk and nothing seems to work.

Any idea's ?? or is there a way to go into Dos from power up that im missin' ?? tryed all the F keys too and it still wont go to dos and give a command promt . Every disk i try , it give me some error like wrong disk, I/O error and crap.

Ok, SOMEONE PLEASE , remove this thread , and color me STUPID!!! guess its a good idea to make sure the floppy drive your using is actually a GOOD FLOPPY DRIVE , pluged in a different one just cuz i was wiatin for a reply here and POOF its flashing as i type.

wow you still own a floppy??? but then again i still hav e isa cards floating around...

what i do is the cdr "trick"

go to www.bootdisk.com

on there they have a ultility to able put bios floppys on cds



here are the instructions
