Internet connection problem

Here's my problem. One of my computers constantly looses it's connection to our network, both wired, and wireless (I tried them both), and the only way to get it to reconnect is by restarting the machine. This happens multiple times a day, and seeing that it does this with both a wired network card, and a wireless one, it makes me wonder if it is windows causing the problem, but we have fully updated Xp Pro, and our other computer doesn't have this problem despite same OS. I have no idea what could be causing this. Any suggestions?

that happens to me too dude... ive been trying to figure it out for quite a while now but havent had much luck. Im guessing that you're using a linksys router? Ive had some suggestions that it could just be the router and there may not be anything i could do about it.

It doesnt happen to me more than 3 times a week tho. 3 times a day sounds like a real pain in the a$$. Usually just restarting doesnt reset it for me tho, i have to reset the router and cable modem by cutting off power for 30 secs or so.
