Default Damn Azureus and it's green smilie confusion!!!

I have been using this for my bittorrent client for some time now and it has been nothing but trouble, I have a Network Everywhere router (NR041) and I have the correct ports fowarded as well as on Windows firewall and on Norton as well. Heres my problem, when I do the Nat/firewall test it says ok, also I get green smilies on all of my downloads, however when I first start the program it tells me that the ports that I have forwarded has failed, and its aparent in download speed also. The only way to get it to work correctly is if I connect directly into my modem. Any insight on how I can resolve this problem? Has anyone had this problem before?

Nope, I've never bothered to use something that's illegal (BitTorrent) before. Personally, if you use it, I say that you get what you deserve.

But that's just me.

I use the Bittorrent network for this linux club I am in at my campus Rob, also to widen my question I have noticed that any program I try to forward on this router dose not get forwarded.Eventhough it says that it is indeed forwarded. So I'm guessing that its a issue with this router, btw my firmware is updated and has been since I bought this thing. Any clue as to why this is going on?
