| God I feel like a noob, but I have a question. I just built my computer today, and I am waiting for my processor, and my 20-24 pin adapter for my fatal1ty board. Anyway, when I plug in my powersupply in the wall, should my fans come and stuff? Or do I need my motherboard plugged in to control the power? I am kinda worried here, never not had all my stuff to build. HAHA Thanks | ||

| If you wanna make sure that the PSU works, you can jump it. Short the green wire to any black wire, and as long as it stays shorted, the PSU should be on. You should always have a load on the PSU when its on though. EDIT: On the motherboard connector of course. Last edited by TiZakit; 17-July-05 at 12:37 AM.. Reason: Adding more info | ||
