stupid printer

i`ve just recently bought an epson C66,
i used it once to print off 2 cd labels just as a test in image qulity to find out if i needed to alter the brightness contrast settings in the paint program,
but now when i try to print somethin it cant and just locks up,
tried all the fault finding things which as you know are completely useless,

i`m not even sure how to configure it right when i want to print
has anyone else got any tips,

ok,bit of an update,
the reason as far as i can figure out is cause it`s trying to send the image to LPT1
which is a parrallel port
i dont know why it`s doing that cause the printer runs a usb cable going to a 4 socket hub,

would it be better if i attach the printer straight to the computer instead of the hub,
i have tried re updating the settings but it did`nt work

Try without the hub....first
If that don't work try uninstalling (the software) and reinstalling back into your computer...

actually,i cant do that,i only have two stupid ports on my computer,one of them being used by the modem and the other for the usb hub,

this is ridiculous

did the uninstall and re-install thingy and it`s done
