| ok. this just started happening about a week ago. if i run my computer at 100% cpu(with F@H), for lets say 2 hours, my computer runs fine. if i run F@H for say 6 hours, my computer starts having wierd errors. like my IM programs start crashing, or winamp will freeze. my windows itself works fine, except for those little annoying things. the only thing that fixes it is a restart. but if i leave my computer on for 2 days without running F@H, it runs like it was just restarted---great. i cant really see anything that might cause this. im running on a somewhat new format of windows--like i reformated about 3 weeks ago. virus and adaware scans are clean. i would think it would be heat related, but its definitly not a problem....... cpu temps at full load: mobo sensors--42-44C external probe sensor 36C ram temps-------50C vid card------------50C under full load chipset------------40C harddrives-------all between 26C and 32C im not overclocked at all right now--everythings at stock speeds. the only thing i can think of is maybe a power issue? ive got an antec true430----but i am running alot of stuf off of it.... *edit* if i reboot, i can game for 5 hours strait with no poblems at all | ||

| With the components that you have in your system, it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the power supply... though that shouldn't be causing the problems that you're stating. Let me think a bit more on this and ask some of my other A+ buddies what they think as well... I'm sure we can come up with a solution for you. | ||

| Apex Tech Maniac | what happens when you don't run F@H and leave the computer running? Does it still act up? Do you have a way to check for network activity in and out of your computer. Your power supply's fine. I have the same one running 4 SCSI drives, 2 IDE, 2 optical, dual MP, and Wildcat 3 6110 on AGP Pro50 and that is fine. | |

| Alll my windows installs of late have been screwy with random errors, programs not startign right. Im starting to think it may be a product of my cpu being overclocked for so long. Errors are usually overheating and RAM I think...not sure if this is possible but your power suply could be starting to go. Its possible..but you could test the lines yourself. | ||

| Either yor CPU or Memory is failing. Since your not overclocking my 1st guess would be memory. Just like hard drive sectors will go bad your memory will do the same. Everything will work like normal til a bad sector is written to then you'll get an error. It will seem really random because of the way memory is used and flushed | ||
