need help deleting a virus

I have nortron antivirus 2003, and also whenever i run it, it detects the hwclock virus, I tried getting rid of it with my program, but it does not work, how do you get rid of a hwclock virus? I tried the nortron antivirus solutions but it did not work, I tried the non-system restore to get rid of the virus, but it still cannot get rid of it. I think i deleted the program but I think it is still in there in the memory resident.
