| Okay fine, I will post it. You will need a very small flathead Xcelite screwdriver. Place the chip on a firm flat surface. I reccomend placing the chip in an old Socket 7 board to prevent any bent pins. Place the screwdriver between the ceramic die and the heatspreader. Twist, not pry, twist along the sides, all 4 sides. The epoxy is at the corners. Go all around the heatspreader and when you do the corners, don't twist at the immediate edge, it's the weakest part, twist on each side of the corner. Be gentle, and the rewards shall be great. | ||
