| When I boguht one today and it came with a 400w powersupply. Since this is my first time transfering a computer to a new case, im a bit confused. I was looking at the wire from the power button on the case and noticed it is a molex at the end. So it just hooks to a molex on the power supply? I didnt put the mobo in yet but wanted to know shouldnt it poer up when I got the power switch hooked to the powersupply? Or do I need to hav eth mother board and everything plug in first? I wanted to know because I wanted to test out the fans and power supply before installing anything? | ||

| Whoa! You did a smart thing by asking here first instead of simply trying it out or else you'd be logging onto PR from your friend's computer. I have no idea what in the world a molex is doing on the power button. Are you sure it's coming from the power button? I can see a female pin that would plug onto the male pin on your mobo but not your power supply directly. Look again and I'm sure that you'll see that you posted in error. Rob | ||

| Im betting (pure speculation) that this molex connector powers some kind of light (or similar) in the front panel. I have used a few lighted cases that used a molex for the front bezel lights - they also had a standard connector for the power button to connect to the mobo as well. Look a little closer and as stated see if you can find some pics. | ||
