HELP! my comp has probs starting up

Hi im having problems starting my computer it freezs at the 2nd screen that displays my computer info proc speed, driver, ect. now if i turn it of and that out the batter for a while it will start up but when you reboot it dose the same thing ive switch the battery but that dont help.

please help!

umm what are you running? system wise?

A computer can freeze up like that if your power supply is dying, or if it is overheating.

When is the last time you cleaned the dust bunnies out of the inside of your rig?

Check the Power Supply..it is probaly caked up inside and can't cool off properly..also see if the Heat Sink and Fan (On top of the CPU) is clogged up

ok this system was just put togeather like 2 months ago i have a msi socket A AMD k7 series motherboard with 2800 amd procser 768mb ddr 3200 RAMa crap5200 raiden videocard and 120gig primary harddrive with 40 gig secondary. and no this is my first time posting any message and it freeze on the second screen you see the one that read the info for my mobo prosecer and the drives. if i take out the battery for the bios memory for a couple hours it will start up and be slow but when i restart it dose the same thing as before
