NTLDR more or less refers to the OS, when I got it before it was because I had my HD's messed up (master and slave were one the wrong connectors). More or less it's telling you it cannot find the OS, you'll have to offer up some more info than just that to really troubleshoot your issue, like is this with a new system build? random occurance? what?

try un=plugging and re-plugging in the IDE or SATA cables, sometimes thats all it takes; if its a brand new HD make sure its set to either master or slave and plugged into the appropriate part of the cable

Ok, how did you install XP? You have an XP disc right? You should... You can boot up with that instead of a floppy, but you use a floppy if you want. I just think its so much easier using the XP disc though.

Oh by the way, I mean a CD when I said disk lol.

Go into your BIOS and set your first boot device as your CD. Your system will then read the CD drive before the hard drives.
