How about a DVD Burner or a fast SATA drive like the Raptor. Or grab a case and a really good power supply.

You get get real cpu. Upgrade your speakers to a 5.1 set. You have a slow vid card. You could use a better PSU. I strongly recommend SATA. I'm not sure how your cooling is doing since you posted no temps. Everything else looks ok.

P.S. My recommendations are for a serious gamer only. If you just play solitaire in windows, your current system is fine. Although I would never put celery on my mobo.

what would you recomend for cpu? cooling is fine, can overclock to 3.0GHz and temps still be under 30C. my video card is fine (it plays farcry on high detail) for me. dont think mobo supports SATA and i never used one of those raid/promise cards b4, so i'd be lost installing that...

If you are happy with what you have, then you shouldn't upgrade. I do recommend you getting a SATA controller card and a SATA HDD. That was one of my favorite upgrades I ever performed.

Why are you planning on upgrading when you are happy with what you have?

that sounds to be on the virge of piracy....tho im not sure.

Upgrade wise i would get a far better case and PSU. Antec and Cheiftech are the way to go, plenty of space and upgrade area. Get a DECENT psu!!! 300 wats aint gonna get you very far, and by the looks of htings youve taken it quite far neough. get a 500 watt antec (or a 480watt with blue LEDs) and see a noticable difference - in temperature especially!

Might wanna try for an 8x DVD burner aswell.

Do not, I repeat do NOT ask for keys on here. This is not a crack site, it is a modding forum. Welcome to one of the fastest ways to get us shut down.

Anyway, upgrades should be-

PSU
ASUS P4C800E-Deluxe (handles a lot of your problems, including SATA)
Case

and a legal copy of whatever games you want.

in a short an powerfull word, no. your PSU is already under enough strain, get a more powerfull onw first, THEN get a new vid card.
