| Apex Tech Fanatic  |  What is the problem here with this HDD??? Hi, I have my brother Acer Aspire SA10 and his PC started to freeze then go into random reboots. I managed to back up his important Data, and then tried the Acer Restore disks but that only made things worse with the whole thing locking up on at the Bios level. It would occassionally say that the log file is incorrect size so i tried to delete the log file but if only ended up showing numerous other *.pf files being corrupted. So i pulled out the HDD and have connected it to a n external USB HDD adaptor and i can feel it spool up and register with a connected USB Mass storage alert but it doesnt show in 'My Computer' What could be wrong here, im trying to format it and load windows again.
