Default anyone really familiar with Netflix?

okay here is the skinny.

I'm a netflix user and about a month ago my desktop started crashing like no ones buisness when i tried to watch movies online via Netflix, the laptop works fine and all.. Well after an exhaustive 2 hours with tech support where they commondeered my c2d rig to check settings they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Well a week later i ended up reinstalling XP, and reinstalled the NetFlix player and its still crashing as soon as it detects my video quality? I've reinstalled several times cleanly and still having issues. Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like netflix sucks....

But i also hear they throttle DVD's if you watch too many, and I could see them having a system that causes you PC to slow down or not work, so you can only watch so many movie so often.

I'd avoid it personally. It's only ~$.45 (after tax) for each movie rental I take. It would take around 10-20 movies a month to get that low from netflix.
