Help! Pimps, need to get rid of IE refer page

Here is the deal, evidently I opened up some crappy spyware and got my default Internet Explorer cannot find page to automatically refer to perfectnav.com everytime it can't find a website. The Sh1t is getting irritating, and I want to get rid of it. Any Ideas?

Try getting lovasoft adaware or spybot serch and destroy.. If you can not acess webpages you can ask someone on a im program to send it or you can purchase a copy of Maximum PC. Usually they have spyware programs on the cd you get with it..

I ran adaware 2 times and have updated the definitions before I tried it, still is there. I am not sure if there is anything I can change in explorer or not. Adaware removed everything it found, but that damn page still shows up in explorer when it can't find a website.

make sure to run spybot search and destroy, make sure to set your homepage offline, and then run TweakUI (i think

) and lock your homepage from being changed.

i have that, as it isn't always spyware that changes it but webpages themselves

Thanks everyone, I finally got it. She was a nasty little embedded app that I got thanks to kazaa. I had to dive into the registry and give her hell, but she's gone now.
