Default Setting up home theatre in a small room

I am setting up a small hometheatre for a bedroom but I need some assistance on a few things.

1. How do I run the speaker wire without it being fairly visible?
-I don't think I would be able to run them in the walls?

2. What are a few components that might make up a strong home theatre system?

I have currently a Sony Bravia 32 inch, Logitech Z-5500 sound system, Dishnetwork 722 Receiver, HDMI DVD Player, Universal Logitech Harmony 890 remote, and all the wires for that setup.

I will also have a computer in the same room so I can screw around with that as well if needed...

For hiding the wires, either run them along the edge of the floor and wall and then put trim or edging around the room.

Like this stuff only along the floor:

Well the thicker the wire usually the better the quality. Although you can buy white wire to perhaps match your walls.

Another thing to think of it black curtains to block out extra light.

Yeah, I figured that I would have to risk some performance but I would rather have a clean look. And another problem would be that my walls are a brownish color but maybe I can apply some paint to the strips. Now where can I get these strips?

Another question...

I want a media center of some sorts...

You could probably just build one for pretty cheap.

That cable is rather expensive, but AV123 is a great company. I have a pair of the Strata-Mini's.

Yeah, I know I could probably build one but I think it would be easier just to get a system. I guess it pays for the extra functionality...

BTW..I will soon put up crown molding so that will help run the wires for the rear speakers.

I was hoping that someone would come up a wireless solution so you can plug it into the speakers and it sends the signal to another unit or something of that sort...

UPDATE: I am going to drill 5 holes in the ceiling and bring them from the attic.

If you got attic access, you can get inside the walls....

Yup, thats exactly what I am going to do.

BTW, I need to get a decent media system. My uncle has the mediagate and it serves him well but I was wondering if there is anything better than that out currently.

I got my TV today but I am having trouble using both my PC monitor and my TV at the same time. I have a NVIDA 7800 GT but the card keeps screwing me in Clone view. It makes my monitor look like **** but my computer looks fine with it for some reason. I tried playing with the settings but nothing seems to be working...

The TV is a Sony Bravia M series 32 Inch...

Well if you clone the picture, it will clone the resolution, so I'm sure the TV's resolution is lower than the monitor (or too high for the monitor) thus making it look crappy. I'm sure people around here know more about it than I do and how to get around it.

I'm having trouble finding where to buy it, but insulated copper tape is great for running under carpet, or behind baseboard.

DIY speaker cable for ESL

The wider ones even look good exposed on the wall.
