| Apex Techie I | I cannot seem to figure this out, how do you setup a XP computer so it will display correctley on a widescreen TV? I just got me one I am useing as a monitor. | You need to create a custom windows resolution at the native progressive resolution of your tv. 1920x1080? 1280x720? There are a few methods. | Apex Techie I | I had to update my drivers but Prowerstrip did work almost now I am ending up with the same white dots flickering at the very top of my screen as I had when the refresh rate was set too high although its set to 60hz I am useing a intel 82845G graphics controller embbeded im my motherboard with these setting in powerstrip, what is wrong? ![]() | |

| Apex Techie I | ^ that is not possiple without setting the vertical to 75 and is also beond the ability of my graphics controller the TV is the brand Envision L32W761 it is actualy a 32 in screen rater than what I said before witch was a typo edit: disapleing "Dynamic Contrast" feature on the TV seems to have done the trick Last edited by peppers; 25-November-07 at 10:55 AM.. | |

| At work we have a Olevia 37" LCD TV, it will do 2 res's that is scales properly, 1280 x 720 @ 50hz, or 1920 x 1080 @ 50hz.... try one of those. may work for ya, but the 50hz refresh is what through me.... | ||
